Watch Buildings and Light, my final performance as part of Marc Kenison's Exploring Solo Performance class at Freehold Theatre

From 2011-2012, I co-wrote, acted in, directed and edited a DIY webseries called Seahorse vs. Lobster. I drew inspiration from parody bands like Spinal Tap, Tenacious D and Flight of the Conchords. There's a bit of Christopher Guest thrown in for good measure as well. I also lovingly refer to this project as "How I taught myself iMovie."

I wrote roughly two dozen songs for Seahorse vs. Lobster, including  Communist Mollusk and Fireworks are Monsters. I used part of an original composition as the soundtrack for Almost Out of the Air, a short film that I submitted to a festival in Olympia, WA.

Watch this if you want to see footage of Hawaii and hear me sing and play ukulele!

Video is a powerful way to spread the word about theatre, and I enjoy shooting and editing promotional videos. This one is from "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well in Paris," which OutCast Productions produced as part of their 2013 season.
